John Rowe, (brother of Eva Blackburn) , was a Stanhoe boy, spending his childhood at Church Farm.
He became the local carpenter and wheelwright and for many years ran his own business in the village, passing on his skills and business life as a high class carpenter to his son Roddy Rowe who continues in 2022.
